Ideally located in the heart of the Italian Dolomites near Venice and Verona, the Trentino Music Festival is Europe's Premiere Young Artist Program. The 2024 season includes staged productions of Puccini's Suor Angelica, Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, & Die Zauberflöte all accompanied by the Trentino Music Festival Orchestra. 

EXCEPTIONAL FACULTY ARTISTS – The level of success of any YAP lies in their faculty. At the TMF all of our faculty have a wealth of knowledge and experience and stellar reputations in the opera profession. They are engaged by such leading institutions as the Metropolitan Opera, Dutch National Opera Academy, English National Opera, Atlanta Opera, Mannes School of Music, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and the Dutch National Opera. 

MASTER CLASSES – Master Classes are an integral part of your training at the TMF and cover a wide variety of specialties including; Vocal Technique, Repertoire, Operatic Style, and Dramatic Interpretation.

ROLE PERFORMANCE – Opera Performance Studio members are assigned a leading or supporting role to performed in an opera performance with orchestra. Available roles are listed on the TMF website. 

VOCAL COACHING & LESSONS – Young artist are provided with vocal coaching & lessons to musically and stylistically prepare all roles assigned at the TMF, as well as additional repertoire that they wish to prepare while in residence.

AUDITION PACKAGES – Many wonderful singers never get past the audition process. At the TMF your audition package will be defined & refined by leading professionals. This includes proper bios and resumes, photos, repertoire that is marketable for you, language, dramatic presentation, and proper audition attire.

MANAGEMENT CONSULTATIONS & PROFESSIONAL AUDITIONS – The TMF is the only YAP in the world that is connected to an international artist management firm. Young Artists will have the opportunity to consult and audition for leading European managers that arrive in the final weeks of the festival. Management firms attending past festivals include Stage Door Artist Management, Melos Opera Management, BIAM Artist Management, Boris Orlob Artist Management, and Piper Artist Management.

AUDITION PROCESS:

• Studio limited to 36 - 40 singers. Early registration is recommended.
• Complete the online Application.
• Submit 2 contrasting arias in two languages.
• Submit the $30 audition fee through VENMO @TMFestival.
• Applicants will be notified within 10 days.
